NEEDHAM, Mass. and LOS ANGELES, Jan. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael Rosenblatt, Chairman, President and CEO of Echo Bridge Entertainment, today announced a new financing arrangement with JPMorgan Securities that will drive the company's aggressive acquisitions strategy for 2008 and beyond. Founded in 2003, Echo Bridge is a leading independent film distribution company that owns or controls a library of over 3,500 titles.
"Our new agreement with JPMorgan provides significant buying power for acquisitions, ranging from individual shows and movies to large libraries and companies," said Tom Hammond, Echo Bridge CFO. "We will acquire for both domestic and international distribution including all new media channels." In 2005, Echo Bridge bolstered its distribution infrastructure and library with its acquisition of Platinum Disc Corporation (now Echo Bridge Home Entertainment), delivering direct-to-store DVD distribution capability.
