Answers.com Content Sponsorship Ads Outperform Banner Campaigns for Media Contacts Ad Agency

NEW YORK, October 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- By integrating marketer content directly into Answers.com's result pages, ad agency Media Contacts says that it has increased the performance of internet advertising campaign initiatives by successfully delivering digital content to site visitors. Answers.com's content sponsorship program lets Media Contacts' advertising clients display branded content to an engaged audience while they search for information relevant to that message on a specific Answers.com topic or category page.

According to Rob Griffin, SVP US Director of Search for Media Contacts, one recent client campaign had three content units with click-through rates that were 300% - 600% above the average CTR of a typical banner ad. Answers.com's Content Sponsorship campaign captured the attention of visitors looking for travel information while improving the client's brand visibility in a search environment. Media Contacts leveraged Answers.com's content sponsorship program to reach the client's target customers searching for information on popular travel destinations, historical, educational and parental topics. Depending on the topic triggering the advertisement, visitors viewed one of three branded content messages.
