SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- RSVP Vacations, the travel and events marketing brand of PlanetOut Inc. LGBT, the leading media and entertainment company exclusively focused on the gay and lesbian market, today announced the official entertainment line-up for its Caribbean Fantasy cruise, leaving from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. February 25, aboard the Caribbean Princess.
Highlights are expected to include a very special appearance by Kimberley Locke, of American Idol fame. Her solo debut album, "One Love," (Curb Records) includes her top Pop Radio hit "8th World Wonder," which entered the Billboard CD Singles Sales chart at #1. The album went on to sell close to 1 million copies. Her new single "Change" goes to radio in late February, and is from her highly anticipated follow-up CD called "Based on A True Story" which should be released in March of 2007.
Also scheduled to appear is internationally acclaimed Billboard recording artist Kristine W, who is again back on top of the charts with her latest project, "Fly Again." Since her album's release, it has already produced three number one singles, with the third, "The Wonder of It All," breaking her own record for the most consecutive #1 Club Play Hits. Adding to these top honors, she recently took home two awards from the 19th Annual International Dance Music Awards.
Also planned is an "Aura Lounge" appearance by Grammy award-winning artist Thelma Houston. Singer, songwriter and actress, Houston's list of achievements are a testament to her ability to celebrate success. She claimed the top of the Pop, R&B and Dance charts with her high-powered rendition of "Don't Leave Me This Way." This classic gold record gave Thelma the distinction of being the first solo female Motown artist to win the Grammy Award for "Best R&B Female Vocal Performance." The song has taken on a life all its own, and has become one of the "defining" hits of the disco era, having been licensed to well over 400+ CD compilations.
Also scheduled is Billie Myers, best known for her record smashing hit single, "Kiss The Rain." She has returned with a pulsating and controversial new record, "Just Sex." Her first single is already ascending the Billboard Dance Club Play charts.
Top DJs scheduled to join RSVP's guests include: Manny Lehman, Kimberly S, Wendy Hunt, De Leon, Robbie Leslie, Ingu Yun and Tom Yaz.
