LUTCHER, LA,   May 10, 2012 /Stanford Who’s Who/ — Stanford Who’s Who proudly welcomes Shirley M. Green to the prestigious ranks of premier professionals as a result of her exceptional effort in the education industry. Throughout her brilliant professional career, Shirley has consistently displayed the passion, vision, and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Shirley has spent the past 12 years serving as CEO of Reaching Seniors Inc., which is an organization that is dedicated to providing vocational training to high school seniors with disabilities. The organization’s services include social skills, job placement, supported employment and working with young people with Autism. Shirley is an experienced special education administrator who is responsible for writing policy and procedures for the organization as well as creating individual service plans, monitoring programs, and developing staff.

During her collegiate career, Shirley earned a Master’s degree in Education from Nicholls State University.  She has served as a Special Education Teacher, as well as having a paraprofessional training classroom. Shirley works closely with case managers to ensure a personal-centered approach is facilitated for all consumers. Additionally, she has served as a Trainer and Coach for the Special Olympics and is a member of the St. James Parish Chamber of Commerce.
