On Friday, July 24, The Steve Harvey Morning Show will broadcast a special four-hour tribute to Michael Jackson. About Steve Harvey
Harvey began doing stand-up comedy in the mid-1980s. His success as a stand-up comedian led to a WB network show, The Steve Harvey Show, which ran from 1996 to 2002 and was a huge hit, winning multiple NAACP Image Awards for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series and one for Outstanding Comedy Series. In 1997, Harvey continued his work in stand-up comedy, touring as one of the Kings of Comedy, along with Cedric the Entertainer, D.L. Hughley and Bernie Mac. The comedy act would later be featured in the film by Spike Lee called The Original Kings of Comedy. In 2009, Harvey released his first book, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man – his ultimate guide for women dealing with men on their terms, on their turf and in their way.
