The company is pleased to inform the public and its investors that initial test results confirm the company's ability to fractionalize resid oil into a family of Napholenes and a variety straight chain hydro carbon (alephatics) after being processed through the company's laboratory prototype unit.
The compounds that have been produced through the new prototype unit are typical components of diesel fuel and represent a potentially dramatic increase for oil companies with refinery capabilities throughout the world from the $3.00 - $10.00 per barrel resid oil is presently being sold for. Various grades of diesel fuels currently sell for $87.65 per barrel. (EIA - Petroleum Data August 29, 2006).
The United States alone produces One Million barrels of resid oil per day - 365 Million barrels per year. Again, these barrels are sold between $3.00 - $10.00 each for the manufacturing of products such as asphalt. Resid oil presently is not used in fuel.
The company anticipates over the next 30 days being able to announce an approximate value increase per barrel of resid oil after being fractionalized into a Napholene compound by the company's prototype unit.
