CareEvolve provides physician portals to clinical laboratories for use by their provider clients for Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE), electronic results storage, review and analytics. ZoomMed’s ZRx service has been seamlessly integrated into the CareEvolve physician portal.

According to The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) website: “A prescriber's ability to electronically send an accurate, error-free and understandable prescription directly to a pharmacy from the point-of-care is an important element in improving the quality of patient care.”

ZoomMed’s ZRx Prescriber has been certified by SureScripts for Prescription Routing, Prescription Benefits and Medication History. It meets government requirements for CMS’s eRx Incentive Program. Electronic prescribing improves patient safety by eliminating errors from handwriting illegibility, wrong dosing, missed drug interactions or drug/allergy reactions. It also saves providers' time by automating the transfer of new prescriptions to pharmacies and approving renewal requests.
