PR Log - May 20, 2012 - Miranda Lambert is known for her trademark pink guitar. Atlanta-based founder and creative director of Exquisite Custom Guitar Art, Paul Heller, has created an exquisite artistic interpretation of her guitar. The main sound board area features magnificent pink and white stained glass in conjunction with creatively placed black/white tile, mirror and silver-metallic pieces that represent various decorative elements. Her silver pick guard dimensions are meticulously preserved through using photo-shop technology along with selecting attractive silver-colored stained glass with an intriguing texture. Her actual fretboard inlays of two, diagonal parallel line blocks are also cleverly exhibited in the Guitar Art with a combination of wavy brown glass incorporating clear pieces of glass with silver foil embedded. Instead of traditional stained glass leading, mosaic grouting techniques are used throughout with pink and white coloration that adds both uniqueness and contrast. The sides of the guitar feature beautiful vertical strips of textured mirror to effectively add elegance yet not "compete with" with the main face and fretboard design.
This specific Miranda Lambert guitar art, as well as other pieces, have gotten rave reviews in Nashville from the likes of the head curator at the Country Music Hall of Fame, interior design professionals at leading architectural firms, the director of art at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and authorities coordinating the public art at the upcoming Music City Convention Center project. People routinely seeing Miranda have been impressed with the pink guitar art piece when seen in person including Angaleena Presley, fellow member in the Pistol Annies, and Natalie Hemby, songwriter responsible for co-writing such hits with Miranda’s as “White Liar” and “Only Prettier”.
With the CMA Festival fast approaching Paul is anticipating that Miranda Lambert herself will finally see the Guitar Art during her annual Fan Club event this year being held at Fontanel Mansion on June 7th. Fontanel Mansion is a 27,000 square foot log home on 136 acres of pristine land formerly owned by Country Music Hall of Fame member Barbara Mandrell.
