Hosted by Qualcomm, the event is being held in San Diego at the Hyatt Grand Manchester from June 1-2, 2011 and will draw developers and publishers, device manufacturers, operating system and technology providers and network operators from across the world. BSQUARE will be demonstrating its TestQuest automated testing platform on the MSM8060-based Snapdragon Mobile Development Platform in the BSQUARE booth and will also present a training on driver development for the upcoming Dragonboard based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8060 chipset.

On Thursday, June 2 at 2:00 PM, Michael Chalupa, field engineering manager for BSQUARE, will present 'Creating Custom Drivers for the APQ8060 Dragonboard'. The upcoming Dragonboard is an inexpensive yet powerful and feature rich development board based on the Snapdragon APQ8060 chipset. Through its exposed connectors, adapters and expansion headers, developers can use the Dragonboard as a platform to develop innovative applications and hardware solutions within the growing open source development community. Chalupa's presentation will detail how to develop custom device drivers for Android on the APQ8060 Dragonboard and the use of a sequential process for Android driver development based on the recent BSQUARE driver development for the Kionix KXSD9-1026 accelerometer for the Dragonboard.
In the BSQUARE booth (#312 - in the Mobile Innovations Showcase), BSQUARE experts will be on-hand to discuss how OEMs can use the Android development tools to lower overall costs, improve device quality and accelerate time-to-market. BSQUARE engineers will also be demonstrating use of the TestQuest automated testing platform for Android development.
