The MAP Award (Measure, Apply, and Perform) is a new initiative that HFMA has launched to raise the level of financial performance of the entire industry by driving revenue cycle excellence.

Central to MAP are revenue cycle measures, or key performance indicators, that HFMA and leaders in the field developed as industry standards. The award criteria identify hospitals that demonstrate sound fiscal responsibility and have implemented practices, including clear financial communication, that promote positive patient experiences.
